South African businesses tend to run lean by necessity, which is the situation automation actually helps with most. Rather than claiming local clients I have not had, here is what is relevant: I build systems that keep running when the operator steps away, and I have built automation for businesses with intermittent connectivity and load-shedding-style interruptions in mind, using queued and retrying workflows rather than ones that fail silently.
Working hours
SAST is 3.5 hours behind IST. A 12:30pm–8:30pm IST day covers 9:00am–5:00pm SAST exactly. Full overlap, no asynchronous handoff required.
