SaaS & MVP Development for Founders
Five platforms built and shipped: carbon credit verification, B2B networking, luxury maritime management, zero-trust code sharing and automated tax compliance. They are listed with screenshots on my work page. What I bring beyond the code is that I have run the operations these products are supposed to serve, so the feature arguments tend to be shorter.
- MVPs taken from concept to deployed product
- Internal dashboards and operational software
- Client portals with authentication and role-based access
- API integrations between systems that were not designed to connect
- Database modelling, migrations and row-level security
- Rescue work on half-finished builds from a previous developer
- Next.js and React for the frontend, TypeScript throughout
- Node.js for APIs, background jobs and integration services
- PostgreSQL and Supabase for data, auth and storage
- Tailwind CSS for design systems that stay consistent
- Vercel for deployment, preview URLs and edge caching
- Git and GitHub with review and CI on every build

Questions
What people ask about this
What does a SaaS build cost?
MVPs start from USD 1,000 and scale with scope. A single-purpose internal dashboard sits near the bottom of that range; a multi-tenant product with billing, roles and integrations sits well above it. I scope properly before quoting rather than guessing from a brief.
How long does an MVP take?
Four to ten weeks for something genuinely usable, depending on scope and how quickly decisions get made. The build is rarely the bottleneck - waiting on content, access or a decision usually is, and I will flag that early.
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Yes, and I do it regularly. I start with an audit so you get an honest assessment of what is salvageable before committing to a direction. Sometimes the answer is that a rebuild is cheaper than the repair, and I would rather say that upfront.
Do you work with AI coding tools?
Heavily - Claude Code is my primary environment, alongside Cursor and Codex. I mention it because it is why delivery is faster than it used to be, not as a novelty. The review, architecture and testing are still mine.
